What different bag styles are available?

Shopping bags are also available and range from $14.95 to $22.95 and come in two sizes: approx. 12 x 7.5 x 12 inches or 12 x 7.5 x 15 inches.

Shipping and handling charges are extra.

What is DMS Premium and how do I sign up?

How do I enter a contest?

Each week DMS has a multiple contests available from the Contests page including a New Designer Contest, a weekly Creative Challenge, and many contests to do designs for clients which they will then purchase. To enter a contest, read the contest description and click the "Start Designing" button. Once your design is ready you can "Enter Contest" to save the design along with a name and description. You can submit as many different designs as you like!

Can I give a bag as a gift?

Yes, there are two ways to give someone a design experience as a gift. The most popular is a Define My Style gift card and the second is shipping a finished custom bag to someone else.

I just received a gift card, how do I use it?

Each gift card has an accompanying gift code. You must be a DMS member to use the gift code, so either log in or register and then go to the My Books tab in your profile.

Simply enter the gift code, click the deposit button and your account now has access to ‘spend’ money from your electronic Creative Capital. Don’t forget to send a link of your design to the person who sent you a gift card!

What about my personal information?

To update your personal information, just visit the Acount Setting page in your profile. At Define My Style, we strongly value the protection of your privacy. We keep your personal information hidden and do not share it with anyone. This means that aside from your city and state, your personal information will remain completely private and only visible by the DMS Team.

The DMS Team does not have access to your password. In the event that you forget your password, you can reset it here.

I can't log in! Help!!!

If you previously registered but aren't able to log back into the site, there are two things that might be causing you problems:

• First, when you originally registered, an email was sent to the address you used for registration. You needed to click on a link in that email to activate your account. If you can't find that email, check your spam or junk mail folder, sometimes it gets caught in there.
• If you did activate your account, but you just can't remember your password, that's okay too. We've set up this page to let you reset your password .

Can I change my password?

Why yes, yes you can. You can change it as often as you like! Whenever you get the urge, just login first !

What is "Creative Capital"?

Creative Capital is currency you can use on Define My Style to buy real products. At this time there are two ways to increase your Creative Capital: DMS Gift Cards and earning credit for selling products through the DMS Marketplace.

1. When you receive a DMS Gift card, you can deposit it into your online account. Your total balance is then available for your use towards Define My Style products.
2. When any of your products are purchased, you will receive a credit of 3% of the product price in your Creative Capital account. You can see a listing of these electronic transactions in the My Books section of your profile.

What are "Style Points", how do I earn them and what can I do with them?

You can earn Style Points by completing a variety of different activities - designing bags, opening a store, winning a contest, etc. - there's a complete list on the my activity tab in your profile. You can also track your Style Points balance there. Earning points helps you achieve new designer status levels, which bring special rewards!

How do I become a Bronze, Silver or Gold Label designer?

All new members join Define My Style as Apprentices. You need to earn Style Points to get promoted to the Bronze, Silver or Gold Label status. Check the my activity tab in your profile for a listing of all the things you can do to earn Style Points, as well as a summary of your current point total.

• Bronze: 200 Style Points
• Silver: 1,000 Style Points
• Gold: 5,000 Style Points + either win a Creative Challenge or have a design produced

What is a "Launch Kit"?

When you reach gold or silver label designer status, the DMS team will send you a kit to reward your hard work and help you further launch your brand! Your kit should arrive within 3-4 weeks of your promotion and the contents are a surprise! Be sure to respond to the “Congratulations!” email and update your profile with your address so we can send your kit right away!

How do I get a discount code or gift card?

Discount codes are provided on occasions such as status promotions and other special events. Keep an eye on your email or follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook for surprise discounts!

Gift cards are also a great way to earn a discount toward your bag. Ask your family and friends to buy you a gift card or earn one by getting promoted to Gold Label status or winning weekly DMS contest!

How do I sponsor a designer?

You can sponsor new designers by inviting your friends to join Define My Style. When they join based on your recommendation, you become their sponsor and you earn points whenever they create new designs or comments!

How do I create the logo for my bag?

First, you need to use your own original artwork for your logo - please don't violate any trademarks or copyrights by trying to use someone else's logo as your own.

The logo on your bag will be about 3 inches x 3 inches - if you send anything larger, we'll have to scale it down and it might lose some detail. You can hand draw a logo and scan it into your computer, or you can use a graphics program to draw your own logo. We've found a tool called Sumo Paint to be really fun and easy to use for this sort of thing, and it's free!

How long does it take before I will receive my bag?

Our current production time is approximately 2-4 weeks, however actual shipping times may vary based on volume and any materials that may be back-ordered.

What materials are used to create the bags?

Each bag is made of printed cotton decorator fabric or cotton duck cloth. The website images are representations of the approximate color and size of the pattern, however we cannot be responsible for variations of batches of printed materials. The grocery bags have a 100% recycled plastic insert at the bottom to provide extra stability.

Is it possible to rotate a fabric on the bag?

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now. The fabrics have a natural bias and rotating them in a different direction could affect the shape and durability of your bag.

What is your return policy?

Each product is custom made according to your design parameters and we do not allow returns at this time.
