Magazine Editors can work for print magazines, online magazines or blogs. Fashion editors report on fashion-related stories like trends, designers, new labels, etc. They may also take on the form of a fashion stylist. Many times it is the editor’s job to prepare and run photo shoots and fashion stories. Of course, you must love to write and know how to engage your audience. Many fashion editors study journalism in college.

Publicists are the people that get fashion products and labels known to the public. By getting products over to people like editors, stylists and producers, they make sure that their clients get exposure through write-ups, TV segments and movies. They also make sure that products are given to celebrities. I mean, let’s face it we all want what celebrities are wearing. Publicists may also plan events such as fashion shows and after parties. You must also love to write and be very sociable.
